Praying Rose T-Shirt Design
This is a project that has been in my heart for quite some time now, and I was fortunate enough to be able to have it come to life!
Kintsugi is a Japanese tradition of saving what is broken, and even more, to bring emphasis to the broken pieces by attaching them with gold, or any substance that accentuates the mending of the object, thereby giving it even more value because it becomes one of a kind, just like our lives and our journey in life.
I wanted to make the praying hands' glue gold, but in silk screen printing it's a challenge to pick colors for production, so I had to prioritize, and the rose needed to stand out, so black green and red won at the end.
This was such a fun project and I'm looking forward to creating more projects!
